When should I?

Question

I'm wondering when the best time to pack a hospital bag is? When did you pack yours and what all did you pack?

I packed my son's bag after his baby shower. I am 33 weeks. I packed him
3 sets of pjs
4 onesies
Socks
Scratch mittens
Blanket
Pacis
Burp clothes 
And one nice outfit because they do professional photos, the hospital will provide diapers and formula if you don't breast feed.

I haven't packed mine or my husband's but I will be soon. I plan on packing me big comfortable clothes. Breast pads. A charger, toiletries, and nursing clothes(I'm breast feeding) lots of socks and big undies. My husband is getting gym shorts, hoodie, tee shirts, socks, boxers and a charger along with his tooth brush& body wash.

My helpful hint is to bring a few folded canvas reusable shopping bags in your suitcase! They are very helpful for carrying home extra freebies, gifts from visitors, discharge papers, etc. Seems like I always left the hospital with way more than I came with- it was very helpful to hubby to have a few bags to stuff all the last-minute stuff in, instead of trying to juggle everything in his hands all the way to the car. 😀

With my first I procrastinated and at my 37.5w had to go straight to get evaluated and stay the night and had to have my husband pack a bag which was no good😆. With my second I just made a list so it was easier to get things together, especially if I needed things before I went in.

I packed it in the last month. And bring loose fitting, comfortable clothes & underwear, a robe, fuzzy socks a couple pillows and a blanket, and a going home outfit for baby
