Keto diet and breastfeeding??

Has anyone tried the keto diet while breastfeeding?
Reviews?? And does it really work?
How much weight loss in what time?
Any input appreciated!

You don’t want to cut carbs while breastfeeding. You lose sugar in breast milk so it’s not good to cut completely. You can do a moderate low carb diet like 50 g of carbs a day though

I've read keto is the diet we are suppose to have naturally. Like our ancestors ate high fats and very few carbs. Only in the last century has our carb intake increased. I plan to breastfeed and do keto, I've started doing keto while pregnant just loosely since I'm not trying to deprive myself from cravings 😁

Because it’s low carb, you will loose a few kgs the first week. But it will just be water, not far. And as someone has said, you need a balanced diet to breastfeed. Do a calorie restriction, but without loosing out on major food groups.

I was told it’s a quick fix but if you stop the lifestyle of doing Keto you will gain back weight. Also, it lowers your blood pressure a lot.
