That would be too many people for a social gathering for me :') in all seriousness though, it'd be more intimate I think, plus you won't have to worry about going around and keeping everyone entertained. Depends on what you like though, personally I prefer having small gatherings of people I actually spent time with regularly than huge groups of people I barely see

Nothing wrong with an intimate baby shower! It's exhausting when you have a whole bunch of people competing for your attention.

We had a sip and see after my daughter was born, and had only about 10 people come. It was seriously perfect! Enough for a good time but small enough that everyone can associate together instead of it turning into multiple little groups.
