How did you get sleep in the beginning?

My son is approaching 3 weeks old and I’m going a little crazy with the sleep deprivation.

He is extremely alert at night and wont sleep anywhere but my arms. Most days I’m running on 2-3 hours of sleep.

But bed sharing increases the risk of SIDS...Sleeping in the rock n play increases the risk of SIDS...Couch sleeping increases the risk of SIDS...Sleeping in a recliner while holding the baby increases the risk of SIDS.

How am I supposed to sleep?? It’s getting to the point where I’m worried it might be more dangerous with how sleep deprived I am but it seems like anything that would help him sleep more soundly is off limits due to SIDS risks. What did you do to get through this?
