Progesterone pills?

I went to my school nurse today and gave me progesterone pills as birth control pills because I get migraines. Anyone else taking these?

I take the progesterone only pills due to migraines. the combo pill, the patch and the ring have estrogen and progesterone. all other methods are progesterone only. the progesterone only pills need to be taken within 3 hours of the time you choose to take it everyday otherwise it's a missed pill and condoms should be used for the next 2 days of it being taken correctly. so I take mine at 7am, if I were to take it past 10am it would be considered a missed pill. I've been on it for about 4 years if you have any specific questions. side effects I had break through bleeding minor spotting, breast tenderness and slight headaches but those went aeay after the first 3 months and most side effects should. if you don't like the pill other progesterone only options are the iud, implant or shot.
