Ttc...To early to test?

According to my app im supposed to start my period in two days but im not showing any symptoms that i normally have that its going to start. Im getting anxious waiting to test but worried i might get discouraged by a negative. Should i test anyways? Is it possible to get a positive this early? With my son i never got a positive home test... Took six negative home tests before getting a positive at the drs office
