Did you actually use the comforter in your crib bedding set?

I'm thinking about just going with a fitted sheet for the crib because the comforter is so heavy. What did you do? Did you actually end up using the comforter?

We didn't even buy a crib set. We are just using sheets since you can't use bumpers or comforters anyway.

I'm not getting a set....I bought some single pieces I really like (fitted sheet, light blanket, mesh bumper) instead. They are SOOO expensive and completely useless in my opinion.

I'm putting a bedding set up on my registry. If someone buys it, great. If not, I'll buy sheets and call it a day

We didn't use it with my son until it was converted to a toddler bed

I actually put a waterproof pad under the comforter and tucked it in tight and laid my daughter on top of it. If she leaked through her diaper or threw up, I didn't have to take the sheet off every time. Her bedding was handmade by my mom, so it was long enough to tuck under the mattress.

Didn't use it since it's not safe. Skipped the bumpers as well.

Yes, but not until she was about two. Up until that point I used to sleep sacks.
