Okay so I know sex on your period isn’t the best thing since you are more open to infections but I also know that with hormones sometimes you just hop in the shower or lay down a towel. I was having a conversation with a friend about sex, I’m very open when it comes sex and she wants to “spice things up” Anyways my friend mentioned that her and her husband have sex all the time on her period since she’s extra horny however she has to have a tampon in or else he won’t have sex with her because he doesn’t want blood on him so she keeps one in. Does that not put her at higher risk for tss, what if some of it breaks off or gets stuck, wouldn’t it be dry and painful with one in, and wouldn’t he still get blood on him anyways? She see no problem with it and that’s just the way they do it but I feel like she’s putting herself at risk for bigger problems than blood on his dick.
