How many days DPO before you take a test?

For women with positive test/past pregnancies how soon after ovulation did you test?

I didn't test until the first day of my missed period.... so glad I waited

I had extremely faint lines at 9 and 10 DPO and a very dark positive at 14 DPO. I'm terribly impatient but honestly the 9 and 10 DPO test really wasn't worth the money taking it was such a squinter!! Try if possible to wait to 13 or 14 DPO to get a nice clear bfp it saves you money to not go through 2-3 boxes of tests a month lol

I had an incredibly faint line at 10dpo, so much so we weren't really sure it was there. By 11dpo it was still a faint line, but there was no doubting it was there.

With my first it was five weeks after that  I realized period was very late and test came back positive soon as is used it.
