I don’t know why everyone keeps saying that you only need water to wash your lady parts. The vagina is on the “inside” we definitely don’t want to be shoving soap up there but the outside part sure does need to be cleaned with a mild soap or body wash. I use regular DOVE body wash down there every single day and I’ve never had any problems. No PH balance issues here 🤷‍♀️

Obviously it’s up to the individual to make their choice but coming from a GP with women’s health training, many vulval issues are secondary to overzealous hygiene practices. Soaps on the outside can be quite harsh and cause contact dermatitis.

Ladies, I meant for external use!! You should NEVER put soap in the inside of your vagina. You need some type of sensitive wash for the outer part. Some people may not use soap but for me I want to feel fresh and clean! The vagina is self cleansing so you should never use soap in the inside! Only the outside! Use soap up there and you will be guaranteed an yeast infection and irritation plus bad smell. Some ladies sweat down there and need soap. DO NOT PUT SOAP INSIDE! ONLY OUTSIDE. this feminine wash is for external use and also says so on the bottle.

never tried it but they all pretty much work the same. I think some women are confused on this post or maybe I am. I'm reading alot about needing just water and vag is self cleaning. Yes the vagina is self cleaning, but who's actually taking soap up there and cleaning it? I assumed we're talking about the outside to clean with this soap right? is this a real thing?
