I’ve had the easiest pregnancy ever no nausea no fatigue nothing. I did everything. I was full of energy and still am. Every ultrasound at 5, 7, 10, 13, 16 and morphology at 20 was perfect. Baby was growing well, NIPT testing came back. Every single item we think we need is ordered. Nursery is finished and I was so ready to just enjoy the last 16 weeks.

Of course I’ve had some cramps and pressure but the baby is growing and since they’ve been very mild I never worried.

Last Wednesday I had my 24 week checkup and she started with the baby she was looking perfect nothing wrong with her and growing well. Than my obgyn wanted to measure my cervix and she inserted the vaginal ultrasound machine directly her face went from happy to serious. I immediately knew something was off. Apparently my cervix measures 3.6cm but started funneling from the inside out 1.6cm is only standing. I have to wait until Tuesday to know more. It’s just very frustrating that I feel very good and am now admitted to 100% bedrest. If anyone has experienced anything similar please share.

So today I’ve been admitted because my cervix measured only 2cm and 0.6cm was still standing.

I’ve had contraction medications along wit progesterone antibiotics and steroids.
