I'm pregnant, not very far along. I just found out yesterday. The few people I've talked to say I should announce as soon because of my previous miscarriage. I'm 50 / 50. I'm so excited that I wanna shout from the roof tops. but I'm scared I'll jinx it.    so my question is, what is your opinion on the right time to share the good news!

Do what you are comfortable with, we told my family at 5 week, some friends at 8 weeks, my MIL at 14 weeks & social media at 17 weeks.
Don’t feel pressured into telling anyone, but if you do tell people you will then have to tell them again of the miscarriage. You can have positives & negatives of both.

I think it’s whatever feels right for you. I have a friend who struggled for 10+ years with fertility and announced to the world at 6weeks.  I had a miscarriage myself last Oct., just 3 days after telling our families so I have decided this time to wait for 12+ weeks- which happens to be this weekend.  You share your own joy when you’re ready, it’s all a personal preference!! ... and congrats!!

I tell people in direct relation to how comfortable I am with telling them if something went wrong and compare that to the chance of something going wrong. For example I told my parents right away because if I did miscarry I would need my mom. I told my siblings after seeing the heart beat, then extended family a few weeks later. We announced on fb at 12ish weeks. Your chance of miscarriage goes down drastically after seeing a strong heart beat so I felt comfortable telling siblings, and it goes down every week after.  By 12 weeks, with a strong heart beat and no problems I felt comfortable announcing.

i had misscariage 3years ago when it was 10week. i'm on 6w 2d by now...i'm decided to announce at least at 10-11 week. really hope this time will be fine...😊💕

my thoughts are that I share the good news with the same people that I would share the bad news with(miscarriage) so I would tell those close people the good news now :) congrats!!

It’s whatever you want to do. But some people feel more comfortable waiting to tell when the risk of miscarriage drops.

Well, the people I am closest too have horribly giant mouths. so to tell just one would be telling all! Lol I think I might wait till my first ultrasound to be on the safe side. it just so happens to land on my fiance bday so I'm sure we could do a cute announcement lol
