So my almost 6 week old and I have FINALLY got the hang of breastfeeding. He was born at 37 weeks and spent about a week in nicu, he had a really hard time latching and it has been a struggle. I've been pumping and bottle feeding him breast milk, but this past weekend he finally figured out that boobs=milk and got the hang of the latching and sucking. The problem im having is that he was used to taking 3-4oz in a bottle and was eating every 3-4 hours. Now that we are breastfeeding, idk how much he's getting but he wants to eat a LOT more frequently. Like sometimes 45minutes-1hour after he last nursed. And he's nursing for 30-40 minutes at a time. Are we doing something wrong or does it get easier as we go?
