Any of you mommas taken Pepcid 20 mg for heartburn also known as famotidine I am dying with this nausea / heartburn....

I've had reflux for 20 yrs and Famotidine never worked for me.  Ranitidine (Zantac) has been my go to when it flares up.  You can take 150mg 2x per day while pregnant.  And if that doesn't work, you should speak to your doctor about getting a prescription PPI.

If Pepcid isn't working well switch to Zantac I used both with my last pregnancy. One would work for a while then it wouldn't  I also used tums for fast relief. Also make sure u take  it as soon as u get up so it has a chance to work before u eat.

I usually end up taking 40 mg/day for heartburn. Works great.
