I’m on a hormonal birth control, I didn’t take them correctly last month due to being very sick. My SO and I had unprotected sex last month after the week I was sick and didn’t take my pills. I have missed my period this month and have taken two pregnancy tests and they came up negative. Is there a possibility that hormonal birth control can cause a false negative??

I will be coming off of the pill after this month anyways as we are wanting to start TTC.
