How was your second birth?!

Question

Was labor longer or shorter?! Would love to hear some stories as I am getting closer to the day! Almost 37 weeks and 3cm dilated and 75% effaced!

With my first my water broke at 37w 4d but didn’t start labor so I had to be induced with pitocin. I labored for 16 hours and pushed for 30 minutes. With my second I went into labor at 40w and was only in active labor for 3 hours and 30 minutes. The doctors had to break my water. I had my second after two pushes.

1st - early labor no pain 2 hours, got sent home from hospital, water broke about an hour later, had her 40 mins after arriving to hospital by ambulance. Natural birth, 10 mins pushing (39w2d)
2nd - @37w3d had a hunch labor was imminent, walked the halls of hospital for 20 mins, had bloody show, dialated 3 to 4 in 40 mins. Got epidural 20 mins later. Had her 7 hours later with pitocin. Easy labor, 5 mins of pushing 
3rd - I’m predicting another early labor around 37-38 weeks & a bigger baby. (This is my SO’s first)

with 1st I was induced, labored nearly 24 hrs. with 2nd, I went to 41+6, water broke at home.  from 1st contraction till baby was born. not even 4 hrs. so much easier

My first was 16 hours,  my second was half that at almost 8 hours.  curious what this third will do??

2nd birth was great. I had an ob appt in the morning of  on my due date they stripped my membranes. 5pm I had my first contraction and she was born by 10pm. First birth was almost 20 hrs so yes second birth with significantly shorter. Number 3 was even shorter at 4 hrs. Good luck!!

1st was 21h 19m from water breaking and 2nd was 21h 21m from water breaking. I'm hoping this time won't be as long

I remember with the first (which was twins, so I don't know if that makes a difference) I was in a lot of general pain starting at 9pm the night before, my water broke on its own at 3am, I was 4cm at 7 am, and the first was born at 11:28 am.
My second pregnancy, 3.5 years later, i started having contractions at 3:35 am, i was 6cm at 6am, water broke by OB at 7:15 am, and she was born at  7:51 am.  So definitely faster!
I'm currently in my third pregnancy, it has been 6 years since my last baby.  I'm hoping this one will be as quick as the second one :)

Following! I’m 33 weeks with my second. My first was born in less than 8 hours and on his due date, so I’m curious what’s gonna happen this time.
