The other polls about pets got me thinking... I've noticed that whenever I've said (in person, mostly) I don't like owning pets, people act horrified and their tone throughout the rest of the conversation changes. To be clear, it's not that I dislike animals. I love animals, just having pets isn't for me. It's like when people don't want babies, but still like babies. They like holding them, playing with them, but at the end they can give them back. That's the best way I can describe it.

So do you judge? Do you view people differently after they've said they don't like owning pets? If so, why?
