Opinions on Deli meat?

All I want is a cold ham sandwich.  :( I'm 9 weeks with babies number 2 and 3. What are your thoughts on deli meat??

My dr told me to relax and eat what I want. Deli meat is no good for anyone all the time any way but once in awhile if you trust where you are getting it from I was told there's no harm. I was going to avoid it all together but he's right, women have been eating this stuff for years pregnant and have been fine so trying to stress about every little thing! 😊

Get ham shaved off the actual ham and not all processed like Oscar Meyer stuff.

Call me crazy but I won't eat deli meat, ice cream from machines, cantaloupe,sushi, bottom feeder fish, caffeine and am paranoid when it's making sure stuff is pasteurized. My friends and family think I'm a pregnant worry freak, but I did this with my first and he came out healthy, so I know I did something right

Heat it. The risk with deli meat is listeria. With a lowered immune system, pregnant women can't fight that illness off and if you get it it can cause severe illness or death in you and your baby. I wouldn't risk it.
