When was the first time you and your partner had sex after c section?

The hospital told me 4-6 weeks but I feel like my recovery has been going really well... I still have some bleeding but not even using my pain meds anymore, walking daily, and very little soreness... I just miss connecting w my husband like that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Use a condom if you do as you don’t know if your ovulating yet.. I personally would risk it so much healing going on inside you even if your scar feels better it’s actually the inside of your belly that takes some time to heal to.. I’ve had 2 c sections and waited till I seen my midwife for my check to make sure everything going back to normal at 6wk check.. infections are a big risk and scar being re opened to..

There’s an open wound in your uterine wall. It could give you a massive infection which can actually be fatal. I did it 4 weeks after my section, it wasn’t painful anywhere just uncomfortable as I was a lot tighter

Me and my SO did it last night. 1 week and 4 days after I had the c-section. I was on top and not moving a lot so he did all the moving. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. Just don’t let him finish inside you.

I did 3 weeks after - it’s not the pain there worried about ! It’s your open for infection! Work out if that’s a risk you’re willing to take
