Sign of pre-term labor??

This is my fourth pregnancy, and I’m 35 + 3 weeks. Last night, I was up with contractions for over three hours. I laid down, put my feet up, drank a gallon of water, took a warm bath, and took a shower. They finally stopped, but they were NOT comfortable. They were about 3/5 minutes apart. They didn’t really feel like Braxton-Hicks, but more like cramps!! I contacted my doctor, but haven’t heard back. I know there are babies born way earlier, but I was hoping to make it to at least 37 weeks!! Has anyone had this happen?
UPDATE: I went in to the doctor, and it was determined that I have a bladder infection! I guess I’ve already started to dilate a bit, but I’m still okay...only at a 1, and my cervix is still posterior! 🙌

I'm on my 4 was at work when I was having contractions. my boss told me to go to the hospital to get checked out. went and my doctor rolled her eyes at me and said I don't need to be here . I left upset and crying because she made me feel stupid . when I was told by my boss to go . my contractions were showing g up on the monitor and I've had them for 4 days but that day was bad . now I'm afraid to go to the hospital or even call my doctor because of the way she acted .

This happens to me and my sister regularly (we are both pregnant) she’s 39 weeks and have had multiple times during NSTs (we are both high risk and have NSTs bi-weekly) they have told her she exceeded the maximum of contractions and needs to go to LD but no baby yet. It’s been like that since 33 weeks for her. I too get them regularly, I’m 34 weeks. So could be a sign, could be nothing and you could be like us where we labor for weeks with dilation and effacement and end up having a late delivery.

I’ve gone into preterm labor with this baby at 30 weeks.  My doctors stopped the contractions at the time but I still get them now about every 7 minutes on average.  They aren’t too bad so my doctors aren’t worried.  The pain level is really what they have me on the lookout for.  Tightening and cramping is fine, but if I need to stop what I am doing and breathe, then I need to go in.  They will no longer do anything to stop my labor now that I’m past 34 weeks.
