Can you take more than 1 birth control pill a day? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I sometimes take up to 5 birth control pills a day so I can make my bleeding stop, I still have an irregular period after I got my implant taken out. It’s unlikely you can overdose on birth control pills, it does not seem to affect me when I do it. I just wanted a second opinion 🙃 no I’m not trying to hurt myself, I’m being honest.

I only take more than one if i forget to take it the day before... i’m not a doctor but i don’t think it’s healthy to take more than one (especially 5!) for more than like a few days.

If you want to stop bleeding, the week of placebo pills ypu would skip and go straight to the next packet starting with regular pills, taking ONE (maybe two if you forget one day) and effectively skipping your period. You can't OD on birth control, but you can absolutely fuck your shit up.

Wait so did you have the implant then switched to the pill? I am asking as I’m in the same situation and experiencing constant bleeding and am so tired of it.
I had the implant for about 3 months and 2 of that I was taking the pill at the same time to control the bleeding it gave me, got the implant out about 3 weeks ago and have been bleeding since.
