Congestion meds?

Any congestion medicines safe to take at almost 8 weeks pregnant? These constantly changing weather fronts have given me an awful congestion headache and I’m miserable 😖

I second the sinus rinse! It really does help. You just have to get over how weird it is to shoot water up your nose lol. I’m pretty sure I saved myself from a sinus infection by doing the rinses every day.

Claritin is safe to take while pregnant. Just the regular one, not the D. According to my allergist, studies have proven that it takes 4 pills in a 24 hr period to have any impact on pregnancy. Because of that, I am allowing myself a second pill as needed (already take one a day for allergies). I also do sinus rinses at least once a day.

No 😫 my doctor gave me steroid nasal spray and advised me to get a face steamer- it has been helping a bit! Can’t take decongestants at all when pregnant. My last pregnancy I was tortured with sinus issues too
