Unreasonable to call him the same?

Question

So my elder half sister (she’s 39, I’m 26) has a little boy called Albert, along with three other lads all called lovely names.
My half sister and I have never been close due to the age gap, and I saw her recently at a family gathering for the first time in seven years.
My partner and I really love the name Albert, but I previously thought it strange and thought it might put a bee in her bonnet if we called our little one the same name.
We aren’t close, never have been and so my family are saying it doesn’t matter and we can call him what we want.
Out of our list of baby boy names this is the only one we can agree on 🙈
So, AIBU to call my son Albert, even though his cousin his named the same and they will most likely never meet?

so after I responded I really started thinking about this! so I called and I asked my SISTER and played this scenario as if it was me and she responds " IF IT IS QUESTIONABLE, ON ANYTHING YOU DO IN LIFE, DO NOT DO IT! IF YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF OR OTHERS BECAUSE APART OF YOU HAS A SENSE OF GUILT THEN THE QUESTION SHOULDN'T STILL REMAIN!" I liked her answer

We are in a similar situation with middle names because it is a family name and we are going to use it. I don't see anything wrong with you using the same name. also, love the name!

I know a family with three sisters and the two that had boys named their firstborn sons' by the same first name. However that said, I don't know if I personally would do it. My DH has a cousin who has a son by the name of Noah and I always loved Noah, but since there is already a Noah, I wouldn't do it. I like the idea of my child having a unique name (as in a name that is not in the immediate family or of someone else we are close to or know well, like people we go to church with for example).
