First job - advice

I am supposed to start my first job on Thursday and I am feeling kinda down overall (family problems + I am a shy person and I have to work with people and be communicative). So I was wondering if you ladies have some nice experiences to share with me about your first job. I need a bit of encouragement I guess. :)
