Baby in public?

Is anyone taking your March baby’s out in public yet? To the grocery store, out to eat? My son is 3 weeks old and I’ve had the hardest time staying cooped up in the house. Every time I take him out he stays in his car seat with it covered. Never asked his pediatrician her opinion on leaving the house so early

We take our 4 week old out for a walk (in her stroller) all bundled up. We took her to Easter gatherings but I babywore the whole time to keep her from being passed around. We’re avoiding a lot of big public places until she has some of her vaccinations. Unless it’s absolutely necessary to take her somewhere

Every time I take my son out he’s also in car seat covered up unless it’s time for a feeding. He’s 18 days old and so far has been outside the house wit me 3 times. A
Nd Wednesday will make four. Our doctor said it’s ok jus to keep him covered and a lot of people out of his face ... I can’t stand being in the house so much I can not wait for him to get his shots and us to be able to go out smh I’m not usually a house potatoe.

Yep. Baby was born 3/2. We try to walk everyday, go to the grocery store several times per week and we’ve eaten out once. We just keep baby covered in the car seat or I wear him. We don’t allow anyone to touch him or lift the cover. We avoid any outings where we might run into people we know so that no one has an expectation of seeing baby. 
We asked our pediatrician at his 2 week appointment and he said going out was fine just do the things we are doing(keeping him covered)

3 weeks old here — we’ve taken little Luciana out a handful of times already :) 
I think we got comfortable taking her in the car since we had to get a bilirubin test every day or so for the first 2 weeks.
At home, we put her in a stroller with a bassinet and walk around the block a few times. 
A few outings include a local cafe for food and coffee, shopping for essentials, and a brief visit to the pool ☀️ so good to get sunshine in your skin!

We've gone out to eat (very small hole in the wall restaurant). we've been to Target and to the mall. We never take him out of the car seat or stroller. Our first outing was when he was a little under 2wks. He's been fine & had 2 shots the day he was born so I wasnt too worried.
