Sex induced labor??

Question

Has anyone ever induced their own labor by intercourse? If so how long after sex did contractions start or your water break? I would rather not be induced and if I can go into labor naturally by walking or having intercourse I'd much rather do that, and please don't suggest castor oil I'm not much of a fan of that route.

I'm 38 weeks & everytime after intercourse I have contractions that last about 5 minutes then goes away.

The other night we had sex and I started having contractions 2-3 minutes apart about 10 minutes after! But I'm only 34 weeks (then). So I took a warm bath which stopped them. Now I'm on pelvic rest until I hit 36 weeks lol so maybe it will work for us when it's actually time

Yea at 39 weeks. We had sex and an hour later my water broke

38 weeks and doing the deed almost everyday, I was 1 cm dilated at 36 weeks and the last I was checked, I'm STILL 1 cm dilated. So sex doesn't work for everyone. I'm being induced Thursday.
