Big babies?

Question

Anyone else worried about the size of their baby? Had an ultrasound today and at 37 weeks she’s measuring about 8lbs 10oz and is 98th percentile. I’m so nervous about her size. Doc told me to start naturally trying to induce to avoid complications.

Don’t be worried. Women birth 10lb+ babies all of the time.

I was told the SAME thing. I've been trying to induce labor now all week. and I'm gonna keep trying. they say my baby is 7lbs at 35 weeks. I'm 36 now, if she's over 9.9 at 38 weeks, I'll be getting a c section and I want to avoid that at all cost!

It sounds like they were off on ur due date. When babies measure that big earlier. Again its always a estimate. But ultrasounds are a little more accurate. Soo maybe induction is good.

Labor a week later at 36w and 4 days!

My first was 7lbs 12oz at 36w5d (born early). I’m 39w2d now and worried he will be huge! Trying to trust my body and just relax, but definitely concerned.

I am also 37 weeks and measuring 2 weeks ahead.  Baby is estimated to be 8lb 3 oz according to yesterday's U/S.  expecting atleast a 10lb baby.  Ahhhh terrifying!!!!!!they did say that it could be up to a pound different. So let's hope this baby is "only" going to be 9lb instead of 10!!!!!! 😂

I wish they'd tell me how big they think my boy is going to be. he's 4 days over due and I feel huge. I'm so worried I'm going to have to try to push out a 10lb baby 😭😭😭
