I was telling my friend about a place in my area that helps teen moms. It’s a birthing center for all moms but holds special classes for teen moms like birthing classes, nutritional info, and how to apply for government assistance. They have a donation center where teen moms can pick up formula and clothing that other people have given. While I was telling my friend, another girl who was there started saying that they shouldn’t offer that sort of thing because it just encourages teens and that if they make the choice to get pregnant then they should figure it all out for themselves. I don’t really agree with that because I don’t think teens even know it exists. Also I think teen moms should be able to get help if they need it and I think it’s a great program so I wanted to know what others thought.
