My husband and I agree on both of these names but are having trouble deciding which. While Emerson is a little different for a girl in most places, I’ve only ever heard it used for a girl where I am from. Big brothers name is Owen, which to us is simple, easy and can’t be screwed up. Which leads us to Emma. We like how it’s simple and easy like Owen. However, it seems to be forever popular. I’m having a hard time justifying if it’s just an oldie but goodie name that will always be around and popular or if we should steer away and go for something a little more out there, like Emerson. Thoughts?!?
