Sleep

My son just turned 5 months and has only been away from me two nights and both were disasters for my mom and mother in law. We had went to my husbands aunts for Easter and hung out with the family and I guess my son thought we were staying the night(it was 7 when I laid him down) but it took me 3 hours to get him down to sleep and even when he slept, he didn’t go to sleep at her house, we had to put him in the truck and drive and we ended up going home. Any advice on this issue of him not wanting to sleep at different places overnight?
