Temping what would you count?

Ladies I was awaken by work and rolled over to answer it on my bed at 1:40 am with a 1min call maybe 30 seconds and as soon as I got off I shoved a thermometer in my mouth. I temp every morning at 4am but 1:40 am it read 98.28 and I was kind of like what if that call threw my real temp off, I went back to sleep and woke up at 4am and temped and it was 97.98. What would you count?

Answer

I’d count the 4am. If you took the call and then temped you’ve already affected the temp by being awake for that time. Although it’s only a few hours that bit of extra sleep and consistent 4am temp will be more reliable :) 
I found for me even if I had just one hour sleep and kept the temping time consistent I still had clear temps
