Finger Food Help!?!? 🤷🏻‍♀️

My son will be 10 months in 2 weeks, and does not show any interest in picking up food and putting it in his mouth! He hasn’t done it ever. He just started eating small finger foods, but all he does is push it around or drop it on the floor... but like even things on the floor or toys, don’t touch his mouth! He’s never taken a pacifier so maybe he just doesn’t know. 🤷🏻‍♀️ ANY HELP?

Maybe try putting a little piece in his mouth so he understands it’s food, then put a piece in his hand and see if you can help move his hand to his mouth with the food in it? My baby puts everything in her mouth so I have the problem of keeping non edibles away lol.

we started with teething crackers, baby mum mum or anything like it will work fine. to get her to actually eat, i started by feeding her bits while she played with her cracker. eventually, after a few days she started taking nibbles of her cracker. now she eats it before i can even get the second one out of the pack... she eats everything i put in front of her now.

I don’t know if you can get the Heinz Biscotti baby fingerfood sticks, but they’re very easy for babies to hold, and dissolve in the mouth. You could try giving it to baby to hold, then gently guiding it to their mouth. Once it starts dissolving, and taking on a cereal texture, he might get the idea that it’s food :) 
My daughter loves them, I put one in her daycare lunchbox, and she’s so happy she can copy the older children now :)

Mine won't! She wants no part of it! Squishes everything in hands. Won't bring anything but a teether toy and paci to mouth
