Fetal fraction?

What is the fetal fraction on the nipt? Mine says 8.2%.

Mine was 12% at 9 weeks. I’m 100lbs, maybe mother’s weight/size has something to do with it also.

It really means nothing. Everyone’s is extremely different. Mine at 13 weeks was 3.1% so they couldn’t get results. Then at 15 weeks it didn’t go up. So I did quad screening and anatomy scan at 20 weeks and baby is very healthy. There are lots of factors that play into how much fetal dna is in your blood. But 8% sounds just fine!

I was 10.2!! It says on the test I was 10 tho.

It’s the amount of your Baby’s DNA they were able to extract from your blood sample. So 8% of your blood sample was your baby’s. I have heard that they’re able to get an accurate result after 4 percent. Mine was 15% but 10 is the norm
