Concerned about my period.

I get a period monthly, but when I do it’s barely here for three days, I get a day of spotting before and I also get mild cramps. I’m concerned about the flow of my period. It barely makes it to my pad, but when I use the bathroom there’s a decent amount of blood in the toilet, I pass small clots too. Why is the actual flow so light? It’s been this way since I lost my virginity a year ago.
