Should tv censor inappropriate language?

Obviously channels that target kids like Nickelodeon and Disney should. I’m think more like adult/young adult channels that younger kids more than likely wouldn’t watch on their own. 
Also, what do you define as inappropriate language?

Eh, I still don’t understand why we code some language as “bad”.  I would have no problem with them loosening restrictions.

No. it's the parents responsibility to monitor what their child watches.

I'm not really bothered whether they do or they don't. I just don't watch and don't let my children watch anything that has offensive language in it.

Well, to my knowledge, there’s always a little square as a program starts to let you know what age group a show is appropriate for, like this;

Shows like The Walking Dead or South Park have warnings right before the beginning of the show, in addition to the labels. 
And when in doubt, utilize parental controls. You’re responsible for your own kids, the tv isn’t.

Kind of different but I wish they would monitor the ads they play on YouTube in between videos. Sometimes I’ll be listening to regular music at night trying to sleep, or I’ll have little kid tunes playing for my son and they’ll have a scary movie ad in between. 😑 I’m like are you freaking serious smh.

Swear words or “bad” language doesn’t bother me or my husband. We don’t sensor around our kids and they know which words they can’t say and it’s only because it’s not socially acceptable. Otherwise I wouldn’t care because they are just words and people need to chill out.
