Vaginal septum surgery

I don't know where to post this but I am extremely irritated with my vaginal septum as I cant even wear a tampon to go swimming this week with my family visiting. 😒 I was wondering if anyone has had their vaginal septum removed and if it was worth it/has advice for me because I can't stand not wearing tampons anymore. (I used to be able to wear them but since I was checked by 2 different doctors to find my septum I haven't been able to wear them without leaking.)
