Doctors Appointment

So I'm 32 weeks today and had my regular check up. My doctor was in emergency surgery so I had to see the nurse practitioner. Well she was new and today was like her 2nd day. She couldn't answer any questions. I'm very upset. 2 weeks ago babies heartbeat was 132 and today her heartbeat was 162. Should there be that much of a difference this late in pregnancy? Also my heart beat was 116 and it's never been over 100! I'm very upset she couldn't answer my questions. Any advice from you ladies would help.
