Extended miscarriage?

I think I am having some kind of extended miscarriage. We found out last Tuesday that we had lost our 8 week old twins, so last Thursday I took Misoprostol. Within hours I was in intense pain and pushed out quite I few bloody clumps. I needed to save the tissue for testing, so I saw everything that came out. I was surprised that I didn't see anything that looked solid enough to be either fetus. After a few hours the pain and cramping subsided and the bleeding became more like a regular period, so I assumed it was all over. Over the weekend the cramping and bleeding continued to decrease. Then on Monday it got worse again. The cramping came back with more blood. I tried to not stress, I just assumed it was normal. This morning the cramping was pretty strong and when I went to the bathroom I passed what looked a lot like a fetus and sack with a cord.. Through out the day the cramping and bleeding has continued, then about a half hour ago I passed a large clot of obvious tissue. This is 5 days after the pills. Has anyone else ever experienced this??
