I am pregnant now with baby 4 and I want to get my tubes tied I never had a c- section and don't want one just to get my tubes tied and we are military so if anyone knows how it works on post please help me thanks!

You need to sign papers. and my doc told me that i would go back in later, after I delivered.

They can usually do it right after if you have an epidural. They make two small incisions (mine way above and below my belly button).

I was told you have to let your obgyn know and have to sign the paper work 30 days prior to you giving birth if your Pregnaut my mom and sister had theres done they went thru the belly button

If you don't want the incision, they now have Essure. They insert coils in your Fallopian tubes by going through your cervix.

I had a tubal ligation with my 3rd two years ago. 2 months ago I went into labor and was rushed to the Er and miscarried at 16 weeks...didn't even know I was pregnant!!! We're now ttc #4 and have a total hysterectomy after. My tubes were cut, burned and tied. Tubes can regenerate. Didn't know this before doing it of course.
