Birth control costs overseas? (AUS poster)

So I know this probably sounds hella stupid but I genuinely had no idea of the costs of contraceptions in other countries till I downloaded this app!

I’ve seen some posts saying the implanon can cost some people anywhere between the $800 and up range!

Here in Australia, the implanon is around $40 (paying for the actual applicator and implant) the rest is free! To have it inserted and removed!

The pill (Eleanor to be precise as this is the only one I’ve been on) costs roughly $30 something a month

My mind blew seeing how expensive it is in other countries.

My question?

What are some of the costs associated with your birth control and what country are in?
