Hello 🙂
Hi everyone!! I am 35 years old and have been ttc for just over 9 years. I’ve been married to the sweetest guy for almost 10 years, and I want nothing more then to make him a father, but my body is failing me!!! 😢
I got pregnant in January of 2011, and had never been so happy!! Everything was going fantastic, but then I started cramping and bleeding slightly. I went to the hospital and the baby was doing OK, but I had a terrible kidney infection. The infection made me go into early labor and my water broke. I gave birth to a beautiful stillborn baby boy at the end of April 2011.
My insurance finally covered seeing a reproductive endocrinologist in October of last year. He ran a bunch of tests and everything came back normal. I began my first iui in December. It failed 😢. I had two more in January and February they also failed.
I had an exploratory laparoscopy and hysteroscopy on March 8, 2018. They found endometriosis, stage 2. I had a large cyst on my left tube and my right tube was fused to my colon. My uterus was also filled with polyps!! Everything was removed and I am currently on my 4th iui cycle. I’m on cycle day 11.
My doctor is very optimist that i will become pregnant. The plan is to do 3 more medicated iui’s, then move to injectables if that doesn’t work. And finally if I am still not pregnant we will try ivf.
It’s just so heartbreaking every month seeing negative tests!!! At least we are all in this together!! Good luck everyone!!!!
