Am I wrong to think this is absurd?

My boyfriend is being completely weird and creepy. We have been together for 4 years and he just started behaving like this. It first started with him ordering for me at restaurants and telling me what clothes I could wear (even undies). We got into arguments about it because I have to make my own decisions or I’m uncomfortable. His reasoning for it is that he is trying to “get back in touch with his masculinity” and even said that women were designed to submit to men to make all the decisions. Honestly I’m pissed, he’s never acted like this before or shown any signs of sexism, ever. At first I thought this was just a turn on for him so I started being submissive in bed (I’m okay with that). But I quickly found out that he wants me on his beck and call, if i don’t do everything he wants he wants to “punish” me. I even saw on his internet history that he has been reading about how to brainwash a woman into being submissive. Should I leave this relationship??
