So it’s a long story, but years ago my husband and I were given a yellow lab puppy. While trying to come up with a name my husband suggested Tess, we both love that name and I pointed out how I would rather save that name for when we have kids but he insisted that it was perfect for this dog. We had her for about a week before he took her to his parents because his parents older lab wasn’t doing well so they thought the puppy could help bring out the puppy in her which it did! But while they were playing in the back field the neighbor shot her (the neighbor is an unstable psychopath who shot her for no reason but I won’t go into that story) but he gut shot her so my father in law had to put her down. So this dog was only with the family for a month or two. Although the story is tragic I still can’t get past how much I love the name. It’s the only name that pops in my head when I think of my baby girl. And only his parents and us knew the puppy so no one else remembers but my husband says it’s to weird to still use the name.

The name would be Tessa Fay if we used it. Do you guys think it would be weird?? I jus love the name so much for a little girl and I’m mad at my husband for having used the name on the dog when he knew I wanted it for a baby.
