Estrogen producing cyst

Has anyone had an estrogen producing cyst? I had a baseline scan in December. No cysts. The doctor suggested we start Birth control on my next cycle in January. However at the suppression check I had a cyst and blood work showed it was estrogen producing. On my next cycle which did not happen until March (first time in my 41 year life that my period did not come on time) I still had a small cyst but the blood work was okay so we started birth control. Suppression check and I ovulated while on the birth control. I was told to wait for my period. My period came yesterday. I went in. I still have the cyst. It is still producing estrogen so I have to wait for a cycle where it is not producing estrogen. It may never go away!? Has anyone else experienced this? What happened? Did it resolve?
