I just went to my first ultrasound today (8wk) and was told there was no heartbeat. The baby measured 6wks although my uterus measured 8wks. This was my first pregnancy. While doing the ultrasound, they also discovered a grapefruit sized ovarian cyst. I don’t have PCOS or a history of problematic ovarian cysts (I had a very small 2cm one one time that went away in a couple months). My doctor said the cyst probably isn’t related to the miscarriage but it seems too coincidental. Has anyone had a similar experience?
