husband and I have seen around 10 houses. fell in love with one and made an offer friday sellers accepted under the condition we have initial inspection done right away, which cost us almost 500... we do the next day. we want to take it as is even tho it needs repairs and our lawyer draws up the contracts, they werent finished until tuesday (sunday was Easter... not sure if that delayed it) we hear from them yesterday to come in today at 330 and sign. wake up this morning so excited only to get a call at 930 that they accepted another offer for 10k over ours... totally heartbroken. there are so few homes in our area for sale that aren't shitholes or way over our price range. i hate this feeling 😭
