My periods have always been irregular, so I can never go based of a missed period to tell if I’m pregnant or not. Today I woke up & I thought that I was getting my period because I had some slight spotting. I continue with my day and all I get was a little spotting like the type you get (at least for my self) when you are on the last days of your cycle and the blood isn’t red, red but instead is of a brown color. Could this mean I could be pregnant? I will be doing a home test later today but I was wondering if this has ever happened to any one before.

Update: I took a test and it said not pregnant, but my period is still not fully here, still getting that brown spotting. This has never happened to me before. Could it be to early for a home pregnancy test to tell if I am?
