My phone did that for a while until I got it fixed. I have no idea what was wrong with it.  So they may not be trying to.

Oh my gosh!! This drives me absolutely crazy! When in someone's schooling did they learn that this was acceptable? Ugh! Sadly, it makes me so nuts that I've unfollowed very good friends on Facebook because I can't stand seeing it!

My phone has a setting that allows that. Sometimes it gets pushed accidently.  Drives me crazy when  I notice and have to retype everything.
