Baby suddenly hungry

My son is 2 months old he has been eating 5 ounces every 3-4 hours and going every 5-6 at night well this week he has been super fussy and hungry every two hours wanting 5 ounces and waking every two hours at night and is suddenly clingy I think it's a growth spurt I have upped his feeding to 6 ounces now he seems more satisfied is this normal
