Ideas to Cover Scars?

Im 16 and have been a cutter. I used cut pretty deep and bad on my left and right inside ankles. I have been working to quit and haven't cut in 6 mo. Part of me likes the scars left behind, but I know it will alter peoples idea and view of me.   Any tattoo ideas to cover the scars up?

Those are pretty simple but the scars are a part of you and what you’ve been through I think whatever you chose for a tattoo should have to do with strength because your getting through it and your being incredibly strong by not cutting!

Choose a tattoo that speaks to you and doesn’t exactly cover your scars, because you shouldn’t forget the things you’ve done but instead learn from them and see the beauty in what their lessons gave you the opportunity to do. I have a tattoo of an elephant on my ribs for my niece, a semi colon on my ankle for my mother, which I later learned is a suicide awareness tattoo. My elephant is my strength, meaning my niece. When I see that elephant when I go out in a swim suit or wear a low pitted tank top or walk in front of a mirror naked I think of my niece and the strength she has given me to be the best aunt and help give her the best life. Find a design that speaks volumes to you, I recommend that for any tattoo. Not just a “cover up” tattoo
